Snapchat is an application for sharing photos and videos. The particularity of this application? Photos, videos or “stories”<\/em> (compilation of photos and \/ or short videos) are available only for a limited amount of time which varies from 1 to 15 seconds for photos and \/ or videos then they are automatically deleted. The\u00a0“stories” <\/em>on the other hand, remain visible during 24h and are also removed from Snapchat servers. These ephemeral shares are highly popular among teenagers. Meerkat is “The New Kid on the block”<\/em>. The application was recently presented at SXSW (at first it was a music festival but today it is one of the coolest conferences on digital technology). This is an application for sharing Live videos. The application is free and all you need is a Twitter account to use it. The application allows you to shoot and share real-time event with your community who can also comment everything via Twitter. The advantage is that after the live video, you can watch what you\u00a0filmed. As Snapchat, it may be interesting for brands and\u00a0influencers to share a bloggers event for example or test an innovative product Live!<\/span><\/p>\n

Ello<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Ello is a social network that presents itself as an alternative to Facebook. The particularity? In addition, it also presents itself as the anti-Facebook. Of course, like Facebook, they also collect data but only in order to improve the social network and not for advertising purposes. With a minimalist\u00a0interface, Ello could be interesting for bloggers using lots of visual content: foodies or photographers for example.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year in the United States, a young man was arrested after threatening to commit an attack in a NY school through this social network. This application was born on an American campus, however, it has a lot of positive sides. You are a brand and you are creating an event? The application can be used to send invitations and create a buzz. You’re a blogger and you want to meet your subscribers by organizing a surprise meetup<\/em>? This is quite possible with this application because, once again, you will be able to inform all users of the application located in a 16km radius.
