Kiehl’s partnered with indie pop duo Tegan and Sara to raise funds for the Tegan and Sara Foundation. The signers designed two limited edition packagings of the iconic Kiehl’s Ultra Facial cleansers. All profits from the sales of the cleansers are donated to the Tegan and Sara Foundation which fights for economic justice, health, and representation for LGBTQ girls and women. In order to increase awareness for the collaboration, Kiehl’s approached Made in to plan an influencer marketing campaign.
Made in was proud to contribute to this great initiative, and recruited nine Canadian influencers for the campaign. The content created by the influencers was published mainly on Instagram with one YouTube video integration. Made in also made sure to have a good proportion of influencers in Vancouver, as the influencers were invited to attend the private Tegan and Sara concert organized by Kiehl’s.
The influencers created colourful content to emphasize the unique limited edition packaging of the limited edition cleansers designed by Tegan and Sara. The influencers also hosted a giveaway to offer their audience the chance to win the products and tickets to the private concert.
Toronto content creator Cher Bai created a beautiful flatlay with the products. The unique packaging of the two cleansers added a cute pop of colour to her photo.
Victoria from @thelustlitt found a great way to showcase the beautiful colours of the packaging while respecting the muted colours of her Instagram feed.
Beauty YouTuber Allana Davison published a cute photo of herself trying out the Kiehl’s cleanser. Allana also featured the product in a Valentine’s Day special Get Ready With Me video on her YouTube channel as part of her pre-makeup skincare routine.
Alexandra, content creator for To Vogue or Bust, showcased the products in a feminine flatlay embellished with macaroons, candles and flowers.
