Breakfast: Coconut-Almond Quinoa

It’s well known; breakfast is the most important meal of the day. There’s no reason to skip it, especially when it looks this good. Sara, from Our Best Bites, concocted something that resembles an oatmeal breakfast, but packed with even more nutrients. Quinoa, crunchy coconut bites and fresh berries are all you need to start your day on the right foot! 

Morning Snack: Fresh Smoothie

Breakfast didn’t quite fill you up and you feel like having a little snack? JF from La Porte de Gauche prepared a great tangy smoothie filled with all you need to help you get back on track.

Lunch: Pita Falafel

Marilou, who wanted to experience something other than the tired old ham and cheese sandwich, put together a mouth-watering pita falafel (just have a look at her pictures) with pistachios, basil, parsley, yogurt and a many other savory ingredients.

Dessert: Sorbet

For dessert, we were thinking something really simple, but showcased in the cutest possible way.

Lemon dessert bowls with sorbet. It barely takes two seconds to serve and if you have guests, they’ll be presently surprised by your creative endeavours. You can thank Lexy, from The Proper Pinwheel :). 

Late Afternoon Snack: Iced Coffee

It’s really hot outside (finally), which means that in the middle of the afternoon, you definitely need an energy booster. Catherine, from Cathcophonie had the fantastic idea of serving ICED COCONUT COFFEE. Need we say more?

Appetizer: Green Apple Salmon Tartare

Although it sounds complicated, it’s actually a lot easier to prepare than you think. As long as you have all the ingredients, you mix the ones for the dressing first, and then mix the ones for the tartare. Ok maybe that was a tad simplified; luckily Sonia from Les Grignotines has a bit more details for you.

Dinner: Chili Lime Chicken Skewer

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s barbecue season, which means that grilled chicken is in order. Louisa, from Living Lou, has a new take on the traditional grilling recipe.

Salad: Watermelon, Cucumbers & Fresh Mint

To make sure you have all your greens (and even some fruit in this case), Émilie Murmures put together a savory salad with… watermelon. Yes, after having tried it, we assure you it’s as delicious as it sounds.

The moment you’ve all been waiting for: DESSERT. No matter how full you are at the end of this foodie fest, we’re certain you’ll agree, there’s always room for dessert. Especially when it’s Christelle’s recipe. Enjoy!
