Samuel Adams is the art of brewing unique craft beers, driven by a rich American tradition and a constant spirit of innovation. Since its founding in 1984, the brand has embodied a passion for authentic taste and excellence in every sip. To highlight this unique heritage and connect with a new generation of consumers, Samuel Adams turned to Made in to design a refreshing and impactful influencer campaign across Quebec.

Beer in the Spotlight in an Influencer Campaign

Made in was commissioned to develop an influencer marketing campaign for Samuel Adams, aimed at boosting brand awareness and engagement around its beers while highlighting its authentic values. The campaign was rolled out in four key bursts.

4 Quebec-based content creators

In the summer, for the launch of Wicked Easy, the creators shared their experience of this refreshing beer, attracting a young and dynamic audience, while in October, the Boston Lager was highlighted for Oktoberfest, an iconic event, further solidifying the brand’s image.

Two contests were then organized during the fall and winter. The first, launched in November, offered the chance to win a snow Wicked Easy, which boosted community engagement and participation. The second, in December, gave the opportunity to win tickets for a Montreal vs. Boston hockey game, creating additional excitement and strengthening the connection with the audience for this legendary match.

This series of initiatives allowed Samuel Adams to build strong connections with its audience and leave a lasting impression through the end of the year.

Made in’s strategy was to collaborate with four different male profiles (1 TOP and 3 MID), whose humorous and sporty approach played a key role in reaching the target audience. These creators successfully captured the attention of their community and generated authentic engagement, all while producing captivating content that resonated with the campaign’s spirit, reaching an audience of 220K followers!

1 million views and impressions

The campaign was rolled out on TikTok and Instagram, with a total of 6 pieces of content published. Moreover, thanks to a successful media strategy on Instagram, we reached a wide audience and generated a total of 1 million views. The creators showcased the Samuel Adams universe by sharing their experience with the brand’s beers and engaging their communities in an authentic and entertaining way.
