For years, Sarna has been the #1 brand for topical itch relief, recommended by dermatologists in the United States. Formulated without cortisone, steroids or parabens, its products effectively soothe irritation caused by insect bites, dry skin or eczema, while respecting sensitive skin.
With the aim of strengthening its presence in the Canadian market, Sarna collaborated with Made in to deploy an influencer campaign focused on a flagship product: insect bite patches. Content creators played a key role in this campaign, highlighting the simplicity and effectiveness of Sarna products in relieving everyday itch, while increasing brand visibility and stimulating interest among Canadian consumers.
Launched in late spring, at the dawn of insect-bite season, the campaign was designed to maximize Sarna’s visibility when it’s needed most.
The diversity of the campaign’s creators – parents, adventurers, travelers and outdoor enthusiasts – as well as their distribution across the country, made it possible to reach a wide audience and ensure extensive coverage across Canada.
@itsandreamillerRelying on 8 creators, the campaign generated 40 pieces of content shared with 189.5K followers, accumulating 188K organic views and impressions. Launched with the arrival of summer temperatures and the return of mosquitoes, the timing was ideal to meet a concrete seasonal need, which generated strong interest in the products.
Co-creation, meanwhile, enabled the creators to design content that was authentic and aligned with their audience, while ensuring that the key message was conveyed accurately.
To maximize impact, a media amplification strategy was also implemented, adding a further 4.1 million impressions, extending the campaign’s reach.
