The best looks of TIFF 2015

TIFFFashion

Getting more popular each year, the Toronto International Film Festival just celebrated its 40th edition. For the occasion, the world’s biggest film stars have walked up the red carpet in their fanciest attire… To the delight of their Canadian fans, the paparazzi and, of course, the blogosphere’s fiercest fashionistas !

Here’s a selection of the most stylish actresses of the ball !

Naomi Watts : Dare to wear pink

For the premiere of About Ray, the always gorgeous Naomi Watts proved that she isn’t scared of taking risks with this cotton-candy pink pantsuit by Vionnet. In spite of the rain, the L’Oréal Paris muse not only impressed Vanessa Taylor from The Kit, but also every person who’s had the honor of laying eyes on her super feminine look.

Elle Fanning : Regalness in black and white

On that same night alongside Naomi, young Elle Fanning showed her penchant for the drama with this magnificent gown that wonderfully complimented her delicate figure. Sarah-Jeanne Lapointe from Get the Look also noticed how the burgundy cat-eye makeup perfectly accentuates her clear blue eyes and porcelain skin.

Kate Mara : Shorter is better

Former Elle Canada magazine writer, blogger Michelle Villett from Beauty Editor fell in love with Kate Mara‘s new fabulous hairdo, which the actress rocked at the premiere of Ridley Scott’s The Martian. Take note: the dark red lips and glimmering golden-circled eyes are a winning combination !

Elizabeth Olsen : Chic and simple

Unlike her two older sisters, whom we don’t hear about too often nowadays, Elizabeth Olsen shines brighter than ever ! This stunning dark-colored outfit is both casual and sophisticated : a look we should see way more often in fashion events according to Percy from Percy Mode.

Rachel McAdams : The classic LBD

For the premiere of Everything Will Be Fine, the lovely Rachel McAdams hit the TIFF Lightbox red carpet in an elegant, form-fitting little black dress that hugged her silhouette in all the right ways. Canadian blogger Casey Wagar from That is Fancy simply loved this classic look, courtesy of designers Cushnie et Ochs.
