2021 : Strategy and content production

The Quebec fashion industry is stronger, more creative and ambitious than ever. This is the case of the brand Cokluch, a local fashion player since 2007. It is known in the Quebec ecosystem for its local production and its commitment to the “slow-fashion” movement, which attracts more and more consumers to learn about the origin of their clothes and the conditions under which they are made.

For over a decade, the brand has continued to grow and evolve with trends, production techniques, but also the desires and passions shared by the two designers, Laurie Lemieux and Christine Guérin. From the beginning, their desire was to create clothes that fit all women, regardless of their style and morphology. Comfortable clothes, versatile cuts, a unique style: this is the essence of Cokluch.

Mandate

Maison Made in was mandated to develop Cokluch‘s notoriety through a relevant and engaging brand and content strategy. The objective was to position the local aspect of the brand via its story and creative approach, in order to create and develop a strong, engaged community and increase sales through Instagram. It was through the creation of inspiring content, via regular and structured marketing efforts, that the mission was accomplished.

We also accompanied the brand through a press deployment with Canadian media for the launch of its fall collection.

Deployment

The visual identity of the brand has been completely revised in order to standardize the content, whether in terms of colors or typography used. This identity now serves as a red thread for all content: Instagram, Facebook, stories and even the website.

Content themes were established at the beginning of the mandate – which was spread out over the whole year 2021 – in order to communicate the values of Cokluch, dear to the eyes of the two designers. So beyond community management, Made in was in charge of producing attractive photos and visuals, as well as writing and publishing content. Not to mention two Canada-wide press relations campaigns with a total of 12 influencers, for the launch of the Spring-Summer 2021 and Fall-Winter 2021-2022 collections.

Conclusion

With a content strategy that reflects the brand’s values and diversified content, Cokluch has ensured a strong presence in its community. The different marketing tactics implemented have been beneficial in terms of engagement and sales. The statistics collected over the months have been growing, which proves the connection and emotional attachment that subscribers have towards the brand. Also, the standardization of the Instagram feed and the creation of a graphic charter allowed for a more fluid and consistent brand image, which was more in line with customers’ expectations.

The expertise and strategy brought by the Made in agency allowed Cokluch to evolve in its own environment, always in accordance with their image and values.
