ShopWise mobile app pinpoints the hottest deals on products and services nearby a given location. ShopWise helps you shop smarter and save time and money by allowing them to benefit from deals around them using one of the largest deals database in Canada !
Shopwise approached us for the launch of this new app. Our mission: to promote the launch of the new ShopWise application, and thus increase awareness on social networks but also beyond. For this, we have set up an operation with our bloggers and influencers in order to use their power of recommandation on a targeted audience.
The strategy that we used included a new concept in order to reach our target: canadian mothers who are active on social media with the creation of a fanboost application. This is a complete turnkey service in 3 steps that allows the recruitment of fans based on the recommendation. All this around a contest that allowed fans of the page to earn prepaid credit card in order to enjoy discounts during the holiday season. It was proposed to fans via a Like gate to register for a raffle to win a big price with the possibility to immediately win a gift by proposing the contest to 10 friends. In this way, the page has gained over 6,000 fans!
Then, in order to maximize bloggers’ engagement and benefit from their influence, we used sponsored articles (over 10,000 views) in which bloggers could share with us their experiences of the application around the common theme of finding discounts through Shopwise during the holiday season.
Set up of banners campaign in order to support the launch of this new application and expando banners came to extend the lifetime of bloggers’ posts while providing interesting content to users inside the banners.
The sponsored tweet campaign with more than 6600 clicks, helped to widely disseminate the contest to a targeted public through the recommendation of our influencers on twitter.
Readers’ reactions have been very positive
This operation was a success because it has increased the number of fans over 348%! Our bloggers’ honest articles also made their readers to want to download the application. Not to mention sharing Facebook contest via our sponsored tweets generated a great value.That’s also what started the viral mechanics of competition and enabled the fan page to spread well beyond the existing fans!
