Remember back in January, we were looking for talented influencers to live tweet and promote a brand new social TV app in Canada. Many bloggers and influencers responded to our call and blew up our registration list in less than two days!
During two month, Made in Blog helped Tubetime to launch a brand new social TV app.
A key objective of this campaign. that took place on Twitter and on Canadian blogs, was to reach out a very targeted audience and engage them with the new app. So, we taped on the ‘live tweeting’ growing phenomenon.
This complete digital campaign was divided in two different periods. First, it started with a Blogger Outreach campaign via Twitter, the second part was a sponsored post campaign that took place on selected Canadian blogs.

Last February, 23 Bloggers and top influencers (“mid-tiers” and “web-celebs”) were invited to live-tweet during 23 top Tv shows (Dragons Den, Unité9, Etalk, Big Bang Theory, etc.) using the super user-friendly Tubetime app in order to connect with social media users. Using this application and all its functions made this live-tweeting experience way more involved, enhance, interactive and social!
This event received a great success from the ambassadors, who described the application as being the future of social TV 2.0. And from internet users that discovered a brand new way to enhance their viewing experience by taking part to the conversation.

The second part of the Tubetime campaign involved sponsored post campaign. During March 2013, 14 Bloggers and early adopters had the opportunity to test the application. Bloggers discovered many cool features and shared their own tips on blogs. Among them were several ambassadors who had already use the application for more than a month during several hours of live tweeting session! A highly engaged discussion emerged within the community with many interesting comments and sharing on social media!

The sponsored post campaign has been very well received by bloggers which were very engaged in their mission and produced high quality of content. This campaign generated more than 70 blog comments, with a strong viral potential as well as hundreds mentions of @Tubetime through social platform such as Twitter, Facebook, Google + and Pinterest. Ultimately, this initiative generated thousands visits on the web site.
The Tubetime campaign continues with the up-coming application available on Google Play, for the pleasure of Android users!
