We all have airhead moments – totally embarrassing stories that are oh-so-hilarious to recount. Four Youtubers were invited to get inspired by the spirit of the Airheads brand and product to share their own “Airheads moments” and generate engagement.
In doing so, Airheads was looking to increase its brand awareness as they launched Airheads Bites in Canada.
The influencers first posted a teaser on Snapchat, letting their followers know that they were going to post a very special video the next day. Then, the creators shared a Youtube video in which they retold one or more embarrassing stories. After each “Airhead moment”, all they had to do was eat an Airheads candy to feel better – it’s that easy!
The content was also shared across the creators’ other social platforms. In total, this storytelling campaign generated over 220 000 views and an engagement rate of 12%.
