National Bank supports newcomers to Canada by offering them peace of mind. With clear advice, it helps demystify Canadian finances at every stage of immigration. Recognized for its expertise, it offers newcomers a complete range of advantageous financial products, designed to meet their specific needs and accompany them in their new life in Canada.

To extend its reach among newcomers, National Bank commissioned Made in to design an influencer campaign targeting the Indian community in the GTA and India. Deployed in three phases between July and October, the campaign aimed to reinforce brand awareness, lend credibility to its positioning and create a close bond with this community. It also sought to raise awareness of the offer dedicated to new comers, specially designed to meet their specific needs.

The campaign was deployed in three complementary phases, each supported by a key message. First, to encourage newcomers to open an account, with cash back offered under certain conditions. Second, to highlight the tangible benefits of the credit card. And finally, a special offer for international students in the run-up to the start of the new school year.

60 pieces of content

The content creators chosen for this campaign shared the same nationality or a similar immigration background as the target audience, making them all the more credible and accessible. Through different types of content, they shared their experiences, advice and so on. This connection, both cultural and human, enabled them to reach newcomers directly with concrete content that addressed their needs and concerns.

298K views and impressions

Together, these five creators broadcast 60 varied pieces of content, generating over 298K views and impressions, and reaching a combined total of 275.5K followers. This deployment significantly strengthened brand engagement, while offering authentic and relevant guidance to the targeted community.
